Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said in Parliament that the disbursement of loans in banks was a commercial decision of the banks, and the federal government had no agricultural loan disbursement since 2014.

Jaitley said, “The federal government does not maintain the information on the disbursed agricultural credit level and the government will invest Rs. 2.92 lakh crore for agriculture and rural industries,” he said.
