The prime minister Narendra Modi was received by both the chief minister and Governor of the State Assam. From then Lokopriyo Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Assam he flew to the veterinary ground in khanapara in the helicopter along with the minster of the state.
He is scheduled to attend the three meetings in the Assam administrative office before he is going to Delhi in the afternoon.
The official said the first meeting was a review of the flood damage in the Assam along with the chief minister and his cabinet colleges.
The second meeting to address the BJP ruling party and its allied parties.
He would also hold a meeting with Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, and Assam along with State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to gave a permanent solution for the damage caused by the recent flood in Assam
