RICE,WHEAT AT RS.3,2 Till 2018

Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Ramvilas Paswan stated that there was a provision for revision of the prices of foodgrains every three years according to National Food Security Act (NFSA) 2013.

He also said that they continued this scheme till 2018, under the scheme they planned to give wheat, rice and coarse grains at  Rupees. 3,2,1 per kg respectively.

He also stated that to increase the storage capacity in the country, the government formulated Private Entrepreneurs Guarantee (PEG) Scheme in 2008—2009 for the construction of storage capacity through private entrepreneurs, Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) and state government agencies.

Under the scheme, the private investor or state agencies was done the investment and construction.Under PEG scheme, investment for construction of godowns is done by private parties

Under PEG scheme, investment for construction of godowns is done by private parties, and no fund can be provided for the government of India.

Our prime minister Modi also initiate a pension and free medical scheme for the FCI employees.
