SANATH JAYASURIYA TO QUIT THE SRILANKAN SELECTION COMMITEE

This year the Sri Lankan cricket team is not so sweet. In March, the Sri Lankan team compiled three types of tournaments against Bangladesh in the semi-finals of the Champions trophy in England.

They Lost one-day match against Zimbabwe in 2-3 on the home ground. The recent Test series against India was drawn at 0-3. In the first five games of the current five-match ODI series, they lost the series regularly.

Jayasuriya’s Sri Lanka Cricket team selectors have issued a letter of resignation to their resignations due to the failure of the defeat. But this resignation was not officially announced.

It seems that they will continue to be in charge until the tournament against India. The selection committee’s extension lasted 6 months in May. The selection committee consists of Ranjith Madhuriganga, Kaluthettarana, Akaanga Kurusinhaha and Eric Upasundha.
