VENKAIYAH NAIDU TAKES THE VICE PRESIDENTIAL OFFICE

The Former Central Minister Venkaiya Naidu took over as New Vice President of the country.

Our new Indian President Ramnath Govind today sworn to Venkaiya Naidu in Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday.

During the swearing-in ceremony, Narendra Modi, Advani, BJP senior leaders and several Union Ministers of the BJP were present.

Venkaiya  Naidu, who contested on behalf of the BJP in the Vice Presidential election last Saturday, was elected as the 13th Vice President of the country.

The Vice-President’s election has a record 98.12 percent vote.

This is the highest turnout in the vice presidential election.

Venkaiyah Naidu, who contested on behalf of BJP in the total record of 750 votes, won with 516 votes. Gopal Krishna Gandhi, who contested on behalf of opposition, got 244 votes.
