Soorarai Pottru is a Tamil action drama film directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Suriya and Guneet Monga, under their respective banners 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment. The story was conceptualized and written by Kongara. The film stars Suriya and Aparna Balamurali, with Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, Karunas amongst others in supporting roles. The film was released on Amazon Prime Video on 12 November 2020, coinciding with the eve of Diwali festival, It is also released simultaneously with its dubbed versions in Kannada and Malayalam under the same title and in Telugu as Aakasam Nee Haddu Raa.
