SPORTS PERSON GETS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD FROM PRESIDENT OF INDIA

The Indian government has been honored with the Khel Ratna and Arjuna Awards of the year awarded to Indian sportspersons for international sports.

Former Judge C.K. The Thacker-led Selection Committee selected and sent to the Ministry of Sports. Last year, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports announced the list of award winners for this year.

President Ramnath Govind Awards were given to the athletes in the presidential palace. President Ramnath Govind gave the Arjuna Award to Tamil Nadu veteran Mariappan Thangavelu. The President presented the Dronacharya Award for Badminton coach GSV Prasad.
